"Rent a" GIS Administrator

AMN Options has experience in the uses of GIS technology across various City departments, the need to share data, have applications to access the data and link GIS to other systems. AMN Options' "Rent a" GIS Administrator will manage these tasks for the City. Your GIS Administrator can and will function in many capacities, for example as a facilitator for and within the organization or in a technical capacity. With the pool of resources available to AMN Options we can provide the appropriate person to fulfill the needs of the City. Some of the tasks or duties the Administrator will manage or perform are:

• Inventory and catalog spatial and potentially spatial data
• Inventory and catalog existing spatial applications
• Identify and secure new data
• Spec out, develop, and deploy customized applications or customizations of commercially available software
• Perform two-way linking between other databases and GIS
• Perform GIS software installations, upgrades, and customization
• Facilitate strategic GIS technology meetings
• Conduct training sessions
• Promote the use of GIS technology throughout the organization
• Act as an advocate of the organization when dealing with data and software providers
