The City of Hermosa Beach had ArcView in the Public Works Department and was looking for an enterprise solution for the city, because the staff members didn’t have the time to provide GIS assistance to the other departments as well as maintain their own engineering responsibilities. AMN Options was contracted to provide this enterprise solution with XY Maps. It was key that the data the City currently had was compatible with the GIS system to be implemented and could be maintained by the city staff. AMN Options installed, configured and implemented XY Maps along with integrating the City’s Accela permit system and HDL system for the property information component of the GIS.
