The City of Paramount wanted a GIS system that the City as a whole could use and take advantage of using a centralized data source. The City contracted with AMN Options to accomplish this goal via a sole source agreement. Although the Utilities and Infrastructure Department has taken the lead in implementing the GIS program, we were able to identify data sources that existed within the City to minimize acquiring duplicate data for use within the GIS. AMN Options is currently converting the substructure maps that include information such as gas, water, sewer, storm, electrical to name a few to be included within the enterprise solution XY Maps.
