The City of Santa Fe Springs went out to RFP for a consultant to provide GIS Services and implement an enterprise solution. AMN Options was selected and has currently installed, configured and implemented XY Maps at the City. AMN Options worked with the City’s technical committee to implement portions of a GIS Program Requirement Report provided by another consultant. The City’s approach is to build their GIS in phases so the organization as a whole will learn about GIS as well as use the technology to its fullest advantage. AMN Options will also be training the ‘power users’ on the use of ArcGIS 9 within the next month in order to update and maintain data as well as utilize the analytical tools this software provides. AMN Options will also be providing a second application called MapBook for the Public Safety Departments in order to take full advantage of the City’s investment of the data and imagery it has acquired. AMN Options will also be providing future data conversion services and system integration.
